Guy's journey started with the desire to make his Fiance an engagement ring.
After an initial chat and some guidance from myself, Guy went off and had a look at some ideas and sent me some images though. We also fixed the budget.
The centre stone needed to be a 1 carat sapphire, so we sent some options. Once the selection was made (see below), we were able to focus on the design.
We had a clear idea of where the design was to go, there was some back and forth on the finer details.
Once the design was signed off, I had the ring made.
Guy was very understanding about the restrictions due to lockdown, and we made sure we used the available technology to our advantage. Computer design software, zoom calls, some fantastic images of the gemstones, and whatever else was at our disposal. Despite all the difficulties, my team were able to pull it together.
He writes:
I came to Richard Haruni (on the back of a referral) to get an engagement ring designed.
As we were at the very beginning of the national lockdown, it made the process of making decisions on the design and stone fairly unique / difficult however, Richard couldn't have been more patient and understanding to make sure the stone and design were exactly what I was after.
After a number of conversations over the phone, visuals sent on email and via zoom, I made a decision on the stone (a sapphire) and then the design process started.
Richard was always available on the phone and flexible to make changes when and if required and the end result (which was the first time I saw it in person!) neither I or my fiance could be happier with. I couldn't recommend Richard Haruni and his team enough.
