The red carpets so far this year have been littered with most women in attendance wearing all black in a show of solidarity for the Times Up movement - but by the time this year's Oscar Jewels rolled round this week, the all black dress was cast aside, in favour of the flamboyant gowns we are used to seeing.

But even with a busy wardrobe it was the jewels that took centre stage on the red carpet once again. From 55-carat diamond chokers to ruby and amethyst Chopard necklaces, to Bulgari pendant earrings and 40-carat Colombian emerald-and-diamond drop earrings. With so many jaw dropping high wattage jewels we can't name them all, here are our stand out favourites.

Camila Alves wins the red carpet with her jaw dropping Chopard necklace featuring 15.48-carats of oval shaped rubies and 11.75-carats of pear shaped amethysts with 3.26-carats of diamonds.
